Toshiba Medical Systems will showcase innovations in three diagnostic imaging areas: CT, MRI and Ultrasound in a visual and highly interactive manner. There will be a multitude of innovations shown, with a focus on patient pathways, benefits for clinicians, and improvements for the health service. The exhibition will highlight the benefits for patients and clinicians of dynamic volume imaging with the Aquilion ONE technology for paediatrics, stroke, and cardiac care. Having designed their MRI system from the bottom-up to make it patient friendly, the future of MRI – quiet, wide bore, feet-first and low-lighting – will be shown in the new Titan MRI system. Miniaturisation has now made it possible to take a high-end ultrasound system – the Viamo – in a portable format, easily to patients on wards for the first time.
