The fully automated point of application MultiStat platform, utilising Randox’s innovative biochip array technology, allows early detection of heart attacks (within 3-6 hours), offers a 98% rule-out enabling individuals not at risk to be discharged and also has utility in detection of STIs, where 10 pathogens can be detected simultaneously within 4 hours .
The stand will include Randox’s MultiStat instrument, Arrays, exhibition stands, brochures and promotional items. We will launch the STI (sexually transmitted infections) Array.

Cardiologists, biochemists, virologists, bacteriologists, procurement managers, cardiac/triage nurses, GUM clinic staff.
Why NHS staff should visit our showcase?
The innovative biochip array technology allows simultaneous, multi-analyte testing which enables the clinician to make a more informed diagnosis. In the case of the Cardiac Array this may involve discharging non-MI patients at the earlier time point thereby freeing up bed space and offering financial and logistic benefits to the health service. Similarly the STI biochip detects 10 pathogens at a time, greatly reducing the time to results (4 hours) so individuals can be treated quicker. This results in a reduction in laboratory costs and also retreatment costs since these individuals are often only tested for one or two pathogens allowing other pathogens to remain undetected. These pathogens can cause complications at a later date when retesting is also required.
