Next visitors can discover InterQual® - the clinical evidence-based decision support tool for determining the appropriate level of care for patients and how this is already proving beyond doubt its legitimacy and benefit to UK healthcare.
Of course McKesson are still guardians of the World’s largest integrated HR and Payroll system, the NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR); paying over 1.4million NHS employees – that’s 7% of the working population in England and Wales! To ensure smooth HR, Payroll and other back office functions, McKesson champions automated, integrated and streamlined business processes – not only supporting the NHS’ greatest asset, its people, but also freeing up resources to be better utilised elsewhere, such as front line care.
Earlier this year, the Department of Health awarded McKesson a four year deal to continue supporting its existing legacy PAS systems (TotalCARE and Star) in 26 trusts across England. And following this, McKesson announced intentions to launch a UK version of its award winning, market leading Hospital Information System (HIS) “Paragon”.
