We will be exhibiting one new technology, and 3 other innovative medical device products which are all new to the UK market:- MIST Ultrasound Healing Therapy debrides, stimulates cell growth, reduces bacterial colonisation and improves bloodflow-and is completely painless. The technology is supported by 2 RCTs and other significant studies.
- Sorbion Hydration Response Technology wound dressings are already the fastest growing woundcare range in the UK and are now being relaunched to give twice the absorbency and twice the speed of exudate uptake.
- Hyiodine is a new wound healing compound based on hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) bound with iodine. We have already been able to demonstrate excellent healing results on chronic ulcers including diabetic foot ulcers.
- Pro Shield Plus is made by Healthpoint USA and is just being launched into the UK market. This unique product bridges the gap between continence and wound care and is the only cream barrier cream indicated for both intact and broken skin, and can help protect against and treat pressure ulcers.
