Lein Applied Diagnostics, a research company pioneering innovative solutions for the healthcare market. Its primary research focus is non-invasive diagnostics and measurement via the eye, with a view to developing products for both healthcare professionals and the consumer. UK Haptics
UK Haptics develop virtual reality training solutions for practice based learning and skills rehearsal in medical and clinical situations using 3D virtual environments to create life like simulations. The simulations take place in real time and provide testing together with user feedback with clinical metrics.
‘Haptics’ is defined as ‘tactile sensation applied to computer applications’ that translate into software that enables users to ‘feel’ their interaction with the computer program.
