The da Vinci Si  System introduces many new features designed to provide significant clinical benefits and operational efficiencies.
Here are just a few of the exciting new enhancements:

• Enhanced 3D HD resolution offers superior visual clarity of target tissue and anatomy, potentially resulting in a more  precise surgical dissection and reconstruction.  We effectively doubled the clarity and resolution of the 3D HD vision.
• Updated and simplified user interface is designed to enhance operating room efficiency and increase surgeon control of system settings and adjustments.
• Newly upgradeable architecture and compatibility with existing OR suite technology facilitates the seamless integration of the da Vinci Si System into the OR of the 21st century.
• An optional dual console (second surgeon console) allows a second surgeon to provide a da Vinci-enabled assist and will facilitate teaching da Vinci Surgery to new surgeons.  In the words of Arnie Advincula:  “this is a game changer for teaching new da Vinci surgeons...a robotic training revolution.”
